Red Bull Music Academy shares a real history (lesson) about New York City House

(My behind the scenes story: when started out under artist name JOANPi I had applied to join the Academy for 2005 & city: Seattle. I had sent a set to them as required but after listening to the Cd’s of projects last year attendees had done in Rome 2004 I understood why I wasn’t accepted, they wanted more than a simple set/mix. You see back then I was fresh experimenting with remixes, didn’t know much (compared to now cos you keep learning & learning & learning :) )

Its April still feels like summer already, such sunny nice warm day that people spending day at the beach ;)

Today had a morning road-trip, so while my parents were in for health-check up,
